It was supposed to be a relaxing cruise: aboard the MS Amethyst, the guests were enjoying the sun, good food, and the open sea. A colorful mix of retirees, quirky personalities, and quiet observers – each with their own story. The mood: carefree, cheerful, with people dancing the night away.

But before the ship reaches its third port, the lightheartedness vanishes.
A death.
Cornelius Weidenbach, celebrated editor-in-chief of the glossy magazine Relevanz, is found lifeless in his cabin – a glass of whisky in hand and violet lips. The autopsy is clear: poisoning.

The scandal is perfect. Weidenbach was notorious for his sharp-tongued columns, biting exposés, and gleeful character assassinations. No one was safe from him – and on this trip, he had already set his sights on several guests.

Was it an act of revenge? A deal gone wrong? A secret that couldn’t be revealed? One thing is certain: the murderer is among us.
But the cruise continues, because no one is allowed to leave the ship until the killer is unmasked.

Madame Sybilla – Fortune teller

Theatrical, mysterious, always in the spotlight. Her aura is as inscrutable as her stories – and not everyone believes in her gifts.
Outfit: Very corpulent, turban with a rhinestone star, floor-length violet cape, crystal ball in her handbag, many crystal bangles and necklaces.

Dr. Norbert Nest – Insectologist

Insects over people – that’s Nest’s motto. Clinically calm, toxically skilled. His concept of ethics is… peculiar, just like his collection of venomous crawlers.

Käpt’n Horst Flunkenberg – Captain of the Cruise Ship

Sober for twelve years – at least officially. Always ready with a joke and enjoys chatting with guests at the bar in his free time. Difficult to stay dry while doing so...
Outfit: Classic captain’s uniform with hat and mustache.

Gregory „Gogo“ McFinn – Fitness-Guru

Once a stuntman, now a vegan lifestyle apostle in neoprene. Lives for his “steel body” and swears by detox, discipline, and dramatic stretches. Sells his own brand of protein bars.

Constanze Glöckler – Cruise Director

Perfection in person – at least on paper. Strict, pedantic, nervously overstrained. If the towel isn’t folded exactly right, the day is ruined.

Cosima Klang – Prodigy with Violin

25, but looks like a child. She speaks only through melodies, hums incessantly, and always has headphones on. She avoids words – but when she does speak, every tone hits perfectly.
Outfit: Oversized hoodie, large headphones (always on), colorful plush socks, and a music notebook is always with her.

Stefan Zimt – Retiree

Professional dancer in retirement, always in a sparkling vest and with a flair for the theatrical. Loves the grand entrance – whether on the dance floor or at breakfast. Married to Gudrun – a well-coordinated duo with their own rhythm.
