It was supposed to be a relaxing cruise: On the MS Amethyst, guests enjoy the sun, good food, and the open sea. A colorful mix of pensioners, quirky personalities, and quiet observers – each with their own story. The mood: relaxed, cheerful, and people were dancing.
But even before the ship reaches the third port, the carefree feeling is gone.
One dead.
Cornelius Weidenbach , the celebrated editor-in-chief of the glossy magazine Relevanz , is found lifeless in his cabin – with a glass of whisky in his hand and purple lips. The autopsy is clear: poisoning.
The scandal is perfect. Weidenbach was notorious for his sharp-tongued columns, biting revelations, and malicious smear campaigns. No one was safe from him – he had already targeted several guests on this trip.
Was it an act of revenge? A deal gone wrong? A secret that couldn't be revealed? One thing is certain: the murderer is among us.
However, the cruise continues, because no one is allowed to leave the ship until the murderer is exposed.

Menu
Appetizer: Crispy Bruschetta with aromatic tomatoes and basil oil
Main course: Shrimp pasta with green beans and creamy béarnaise sauce
Dessert: Airy chocolate mousse with dark chocolate and sea salt flakes

Victor Vellmont - Crime fiction author
Sarcastic, cynical, a brilliant mind with a sharp tongue. Carries old grudges like a badge of honor and loves to intellectually corner others.
Outfit: Dark green velvet jacket, shirt with a high collar, neckerchief, reading glasses on the tip of the nose.
Lysandra von Biberstein – Heiress to a Billion Dollar Empire
Eccentric, over-the-top, dramatic. In a constant clash with her brother Lionel and always convinced that she is something better.
Outfit: Cocktail dress, oversized sun hat, and a chihuahua in a designer handbag. High heels.
Lionel von Biberstein – Heir to a Billion Dollar Empire
A charmer with hidden depths. Behind his smile lurk mockery and calculation – especially when it comes to family secrets.
Outfit: Bespoke linen suit in pastel colors, walking stick that is purely decorative, old-fashioned watch with family crest.
Madame Sybilla – Fortune Teller
Theatrical, mysterious, always in the spotlight. Her aura is as inscrutable as her stories – and not everyone believes in her gifts.
Outfit: very corpulent, turban with rhinestone star, floor-length purple cloak, crystal ball in handbag, many crystal bracelets and necklaces
Dr. Norbert Nest – Entomologist
Insects over humans – that's Nest's motto. Clinically calm, toxicologically versed. His idea of ethics is... special, just like his collection of poisonous creepy crawlies.
Outfit: Beige gillet with tiny insect pins, suspenders, tousled hair
Captain Horst Flunkenberg – Captain of the cruise ship
Sober for twelve years – at least officially. Always ready with a joke and enjoys chatting with guests at the bar in his free time. Staying sober is difficult…
Outfit: Classic captain's uniform with cap and mustache.
Gregory "Gogo" McFinn - Fitness Guru
Once a stuntman, now a vegan lifestyle apostle in neoprene. He lives for his "steel body" and swears by detox, discipline, and dramatic stretching exercises. He sells his own brand of protein bars.
Outfit: Sportswear, a colorful headband, a protein bar, and a dumbbell.
Constanze Glöckler – Cruise Director
Perfection personified – at least on paper. Strict, pedantic, overly nervous. If the towel isn't folded exactly right, the day is ruined.
Outfit: Navy blue pantsuit with name tag, clipboard in hand, tight bun.
Cosima Klang – Child prodigy with the violin
25 years old, but acts like a child. She only speaks through melodies, hums incessantly and always has headphones on. She avoids words – but when she does speak, every tone hits home.
Outfit: Oversized hoodie, large headphones (always on), colorful plush socks, a notebook is always with me.
Stefan Zimt – Pensioner
A retired professional dancer, always in a sparkling waistcoat and with a penchant for the theatrical. Loves a grand entrance – whether on the dance floor or at breakfast. Married to Gudrun – a well-coordinated duo with their own rhythm.
Outfit: Glitter vest, black trousers with crease, shiny patent leather shoes, gray hair slicked back.
Gudrun Zimt – Pensioner
Retired dance school owner with a sharp eye and an even sharper fan. She commands any room like a dance floor. Married to Stefan – together they are eccentric, charming, and never entirely predictable.
Outfit: floral dress, fan, a rose in her hair
