It's the social event of the year: the legendary polo tournament at the Thornton family's stately estate. Every year, the crème de la crème gathers here—celebrities, aristocrats, long-established dynasties, and the rising nouveau riche. Champagne flows, bets are placed, and the air is filled with exuberant elegance. But this year, an invisible tension hangs in the air.
At midday during the semifinal, Prince Henry Thornton, the future heir to the throne of England, is discovered dead in the library. An overturned wine glass, his eyes wide open, and a bullet lodged in his head—the pistol was found next door. This news spreads like wildfire, causing the celebrations to collapse.
Was it a political assassination? Henry was a staunch traditionalist with powerful enemies. Or were there personal reasons behind it—an affair, greed, betrayal?
One thing is certain: the murderer is among the guests. And no one is without secrets.
